Deer Exclusion Fence:
Do you need it to protect your business and home?

In the past two decades, deer pressure on crops and landscape plantings has increased as much as tenfold in certain areas. This is not only due to the rise in deer population, but also that urbanization has caused increase pressure on open spaces for forage. Due to real estate development, there are fewer natural predators and a decrease in safe areas for hunting, thus allowing the deer population to grow, almost unchecked. Fences that were developed two decades ago, such as the Penn State five-wire vertical electric deer fence, were very effective in the beginning but cannot withstand these new escalating pressures. Over time, many studies have been done on the various options for deer exclusion fences and there is no doubt that the Fixed Knot high tensile deer exclusion fence is the most effective and economical fence, in the long run. Many growers have said that they paid for the fence in the first two years in crop savings, alone.

In the Gallery at right you'll see a range of deer fencing jobs we've completed in the last two years.
